A Little Snowy Dream

So hi kids!

It's been a while since I posted because I've been working hard on transitioning my Etsy shop to my own stand alone e-commerce site ~ Suzie Q Gifts. I've worked hard to fill my store with stickers, charms, clips, supplies, die cuts, and more. I've been posting mostly on my Face Book and Instagram primarily. It's been going well and has been a lot of fun.

But today I wanted to go back where it all started for me, Cut It Up Challenges! Evelyn's was the 1st Design Team I ever participated on! I decided I need to work on my Christmas cards, I really like working on them throughout the year. It's been like FOREVER since I actually made a card, haven't used my Copic markers in literally 2 years! It's crazy how the crafting world moves on and how my talents have waned. All of that to say, please be kind when viewing my little card. 😀

I cheated and used a Cricut project to make this card, using cardstock from my closet (it would've been from Hobby Lobby or Michael's tho.) I did put Wink of Stella on the trees. I hand stamped the sentiments. It's a good starting place and I will dust off my card making skills and hopefully play along often to rebuild my holiday cards supplies.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day wherever you may be 💖

My Little Purple Boho Gypsy

It's me again -

This time I am sharing my DT project  Amy Joy Studios - I tried hard to beat the sun. Where I tape, the sun comes thru 1 of the 2 skylights in the main room and boy, it gets sooo bright that it washes  everything out. So, please know the colors in this journal are much richer than they look.

I have listed this cutie in my Etsy Shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/suzieqgifts

I actually used 2 kits for this one and they can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AmyJoyStudios.

I've been saving this fabric for soooo many years, convinced I would make a skirt. Well, this is better than said skirt! Look at this yummy colors!

I added one of my "word porn" embellishments I have for sale in my Etsy shop.

A fabulous Hobby Lobby clearance flower on this tick spot. Man - what a good time that shopping trip was!

Lots of hand stamping and machine stitching in all my journals.

I wish I had more of this blue universe fabric!

I just love the colors of Amy Joy's kits ~

Thank you for stopping in to see my latest journal. I have more journals in the works, this time without kits.

I have this (and a few other things) listed in my Etsy Shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/suzieqgifts

Thanks again  ~ don't forget to subscribe to my blog & YouTube channels to stay up to date on all my goodies =)

St. Patrick's Day DT

Howdy all!

Here today to share my most recent That's Just Penny Design Team project  ya. I loved working with these images cuz I really like St. Patrick's Day and I know that spring is just around the corner!

I have listed this journal in my Etsy Shop too. I have a few other goodies listed right now too - click over and take a peek if you have a minute.

Here are a few pictures I took of the journal, but please take a min (if you will) to watch the flip thru video for all the wonderful pages!

It's a soft sided cover approx. 8.25 x 4.5". There are 52 pages in this single signature journal.

I've added 23 different tuck spots or pockets and 13 ephemera inserts.

I've also made 4 altered or decorated paper clips throughout the journal.

I always do a bunch of machine stitching and back all my inserts with coffee stained paper.

There's a lot of hand stamping through out too.

I've added decorative treat bags and made them functioning tuck spots.

So, the kit I used is from That's Just Penny. I have list this journal I(and a few others) in my shop ~ SuzieQ Gifts.

Thank you so much for taking time out to look at my latest journal. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and YouTube channel so you won't miss any coming projects or products!

Have a wonderful day!

Celebrations Are In Order!

Welcome!

Image: Fred She Said

It's time to celebrate as I step into the next, new and exciting leg of my crafting journey! I have had a blog called Maxx & Boo for 8 years. And I used it as a platform for my paper crafting, some family news, junk journaling and my work for various Design Teams thru the years.

I've also had a small (the operative word here is small) Etsy shop called SuzieQ Gifts. I created this blog a few years back and have finally decided it's time to make the move. 💖

So, I hope you will subscribe to my new channel and follow me as I grow my life, friends, craft and business.

Thank you for all the wonderful support you've shown me through out the years and I look forward to many more to come!

Hugs ~
